is a 14-week program for moms where I'm going to give you all the 
information you need to get the most out of your precious time in the gym and kitchen, and build some gorgeous curvy muscles you can show off in your LBD.

Workouts

14 weeks (2 weeks Foundation, 12 weeks building) that build on each other and incorporate Progressive Overload which is the key to building muscle and getting stronger.


Form Feedback

I'll have you send me videos of you performing your exercises, then provide feedback on your form so you can train safely and effectively. This is my greatest skill as a coach and is invaluable to my clients!


Course material

I'll teach you everything you need to know through lessons, instructional videos, downloads, links.... all the tools you need to learn all the strategies I use with my clients and myself.


Bi-weekly check-ins

Every two weeks you'll submit a check-in form, update your metrics, and I'll review your nutrition to make sure you're sticking to your plan and progressing well.


Private social community page

All FYF clients and course participants gain lifetime access to our private social group page in Mighty Networks. This is a place to meet like-minded people, exchange tips and recipes, and just hang out with other women & moms just like you.

I realized soon after having my first baby that the average fitness program was not designed with me in mind. Moms don't have the capacity for MORE... what we need is EFFICIENCY. And, (this part is pretty cool) that efficiency is already ingrained in us because of our roles as moms! 

I've been working with moms for over 3 years now, helping them to get some pretty rad results without ever sacrificing time with their families. We work hard when we can, stay focused on the big picture, get organized, train smart, but always ALWAYS keep our perspective that family comes first.
Before I started working with Tess I had hit a point in my life where I felt stuck. My body was no longer responsive to the haphazard exercise I had been doing and I felt like a stranger in my body. Within weeks of working with Tess I started to feel like myself again. She designed a plan that works for me on so many levels. She gets that busy moms and women in general need flexibility in their schedule and have limited amounts of time in which they can get their exercise done. From day one it really was a partnership through which we devised a plan that really works for me. I’ve never felt stronger and my mind set has completely changed. I no longer feel like I have to do hours of cardio to get results and I have a new appreciation for weight training. It’s reshaping my body in ways I no longer thought could happen.

LET'S TAKE A LOOK INSIDE THE PROGRAM

Here's what we're going to achieve together...


Phase 1 - Foundations

The first two weeks of the program are devoted to establishing a baseline of fitness and correcting muscle and movement imbalances. This crucial phase ensures your body will be ready for the demands that lay ahead! I'll have you track your macros for a few days to establish a baseline of nutrition.


Phase 2 - Build

The second phase is the bulk of this program, which is your build phase! You can expect to lift heavy and work hard to build some gorgeous muscles and curves. During this time we'll employ a strategy called "Reverse Dieting" to increase your calories to support muscle building, but we'll do it slowly to minimize fat gain. 


Phase 3 - Easing Out of Macros

In the final phase of this program we'll go over strategies to ease out of macro tracking and ease into a more intuitive way of eating so you can maintain this amazing body with ease xo

I am a mother of two who has had an off again/on again relationship with sport and athletics most of her life. I played soccer for many years, would run outdoors, and have dabbled in other group fitness activities. But nothing was holding my attention for more than a few months at a time. In 2018 I joined a gym and met Tess - I instantly connected with her teaching style and her infectious personality. 

During COVID I didn't know where or how to exercise anymore, especially with a baby and preschooler at home. When I saw Tess had started her virtual fitness training business on Instagram, I was immediately intrigued. After getting over any fears of the unknown I had, I wanted to invest in myself and accomplish a goal of mine which was to become physically strong and recognize my body again but also to really feel strong!

In the fall of 2020 I began working with Tess and it has been great but also humbling. Tess had me start at the basics and having dabbled in fitness for enough years I felt I could start at a more advanced spot than the very beginning. Nope. I now appreciate the need to nail the basics, because if you want to lift the heavy weights (safely), or get to the advanced exercises, those basics need to be in place first. 

Nine months after signing on with Tess, I am stronger and most importantly I feel stronger. I have done things I have never done before like deadlifts and shoulder presses - things that make me feel like a badass. I have gained muscle but also confidence in my body to do more. Her method of monthly programs ensures I never get bored and am trying new things while becoming more fit and strong. As someone who does get bored every few months from doing the same exercises or styles of exercises repeatedly, her approach is refreshing and effective. Together we created goals for myself and Tess has methodically planned out how I am to achieve my goals. I have also come to the realization that I will not get my pre-pregnancy body back, because what I am working towards is a new stronger and more capable body than ever before. I am looking forward to building more muscle and achieving my goals with Tess teaching me and cheering me on!

I have had a goal to do five consecutive pull-ups for some time, but I wasn’t making any progress on my own. I’ve been a weigh loss coach for over 17 years but fitness is not my expertise. FAQ
Q:  What type of equipment will I need?
A:  A commercial or home gym are strongly recommended. We'll be using barbells + plates, dumbbells, bands or cables, and a bench. 
Q: What is the time requirement during the week?
A: Plan to devote an hour per day to this course. On workout days (about 4x per week) that hour will be devoted to your training, and on off days it'll be devoted to course material, assignments, and nutrition. 
Q:  What are the workouts like?
A: These workouts are deeply rooted in bodybuilding - THE sport for building gorgeous physiques! Although they're generally under an hour each, they will still be intense as I'm challenging you to lift heavier than you maybe believe you can ;) These are NOT circuit training, bootcamp, or Crossfit style workouts.
Q: How much does this course cost?
A: The cost is $350 CAD per month for three months, or $975 paid in full.
